Job summary

Cotton On in Geelong is seeking a proactive Retail Risk Partner to lead investigations into theft, fraud and loss across Retail and Distribution centres. You will analyse data, leverage dashboards and work with Area Managers, store teams and law enforcement to resolve cases and strengthen controls.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of Retail Operations and commercial dynamics.
• Proven experience in Loss Prevention within retail and/or Distribution Centers.
• Experience conducting investigations (preferred, not essential).
• Familiarity with HR/ER requirements and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into theft, fraud and loss across Retail and Distribution Centers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and law enforcement to resolve cases.
• Analyse data and dashboards to identify areas needing investigation and improvement.
• Verify and maintain physical security systems (CCTV, tagging, locks, alarms).
• Support Area Managers and store teams to reduce shrink and improve processes.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Risk Partner. In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing investigations related to theft, fraud, security, and loss. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough investigations and collaborating closely with Internal stakeholders and law enforcement to address cases effectively.

As a Retail Risk Partner, you will leverage insights from reporting and dashboards to proactively identify areas that require investigation. You will play a crucial role in delivering clear and actionable support to Area Managers and store teams. Additionally, you will provide Security and Safety support to both Retail and Distribution centers, managing security solutions.

You will be instrumental in identifying breakdowns in processes and taking swift action to resolve issues, collaborating closely with Retail and Distribution Center teams to enhance overall performance.

In this role, you will also be responsible for verifying the correct use and maintenance of physical security systems, including CCTV, merchandise tagging, security, locks, safes, and alarms. About The Candidate

• In-depth understanding of Retail Operations and commercial dynamics
• Proven experience in Loss Prevention within retail and/or Distribution Centers
• Demonstrated experience in conducting investigations (preferred, not essential)
• Familiarity with relevant HR and ER requirements
• Expertise in physical security controls and systems (preferred, not essential)
• Strong analytical abilities focused on fraud and loss prevention
