Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership or store management.
• Experience in the disability/NDIS sector.
• Passion for teaching, mentoring and supporting others to grow.
• Belief in the potential of people with disability to achieve meaningful employment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Leads with patience, encouragement and respect.
• Can build positive and professional relationships with a wide range of people.
• Organised, proactive and confident managing day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the retail program and create a positive, hands-on learning environment for Trainees.
• Help Trainees develop practical skills, confidence and workplace behaviours for work experience and paid employment.
• Take ownership of the retail program and develop new learning opportunities while ensuring an outstanding customer and community experience.
• Work closely with the Employability Skills Team to support Trainees as they progress through their journey.
• Build individual workplace skills and prepare Trainees for open employment.
• Celebrate milestones and achievements and support staff accordingly.
