Job summary
Choice Pharmacy North Kellyville Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a registered Pharmacist for a busy community pharmacy. You will dispense prescriptions, advise customers on medicines and health care, and help provide a friendly, professional service to the local community.
The role includes supervising staff, reviewing medicine therapies, maintaining records, and supporting PBS/S100 processes. AHPRA registration and Bachelor of Pharmacy are required; collaboration and customer focus are essential
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Pharmacy.
- Current registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of PBS and S100 medications.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with pharmacy software is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medicines to the public.
- Educate customers on health promotion and proper medicine use.
- Sell OTC medicines and related goods.
- Supervise and coordinate Pharmacy Technicians and interns.
- Review patient medicine therapy and assess effectiveness.
- Maintain prescription records and drug history.
