Job summary

Savers at Fountain Gate is seeking a Retail Manager to lead the Retail Operations team on the sales floor, customer experience and team performance in a fast-paced, high-volume store.

You will report to the Store Manager and drive trading results, coach a large team and collaborate with Store and District leadership to deliver on key priorities. This is hands-on, fast-moving leadership with real ownership of outcomes.

About the Role

This isn’t a typical retail leadership role. As a Retail Manager at Fountain Gate, you will lead the Retail Operations team - owning the sales floor, customer experience and team performance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will play a critical role in driving store performance through strong leadership, real-time decision making and hands-on execution. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will:

• Lead, coach and develop a large front-end team
• Drive sales performance through stock flow, merchandising and in-store execution
• Take ownership of daily and weekly trading results
• Partner with Store and District leadership to plan and deliver on key business priorities
• Build capability across your team in a high-change, fast-paced environment

What Your Day Might Look Like

No two days are the same, but your focus will always be on leading your team and delivering results.

• Review sales and performance data, adjusting the floor to maximise results
• Lead and coach team members to lift service, productivity and standards
• Manage high-volume stock flow and ensure the shop floor is fully optimised
• Support onboarding and development of new team members
• Work closely with your Store Manager to plan upcoming trading periods and initiatives
