Job summary

Crystal Car Wash, operated by MS BHATTI PTY LTD, is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead daily operations at Rose Bay. You will supervise staff, drive sales, and ensure top customer service while controlling budgets and implementing growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• AQF Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Management or relevant discipline, or substantial relevant management experience
• Previous experience managing a retail, automotive service and/or car wash or comparable customer-facing business
• Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in staff supervision, budgeting and customer service management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy business environment

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and manage the daily operations of the car wash business
• Plan and coordinate advertising, promotional campaigns, customer loyalty initiatives and other marketing activities to increase sales and attract new customers
• Supervise, recruit, train and manage employees, including staff rostering and performance monitoring
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service standards
• Manage business budgets, monitor revenue and expenses, and support profitability
• Oversee customer service operations, resolve complaints and maintain customer satisfaction
• Develop and implement pricing strategies, promotional activities and customer retention initiatives
• Coordinate purchasing, inventory management and supplier relationships
• Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
• Maintain business records, operational reports and administrative documentation
• Ensure the business complies with applicable workplace health and safety requirements, including safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals, equipment safety and employee training
• Establish and monitor customer service policies, manage complaints and implement improvements to service quality and customer satisfaction

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily business operations, supervising employees, maintaining high customer service standards, overseeing financial and operational performance, and supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

Plan, organise and manage the daily operations of the car wash business
