Job summary

Savers Australia is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead the Retail Operations team on the sales floor, ensure superior customer experience, and drive team performance in a fast-paced, high-volume store.

You will report to the Store Manager and guide coaching, floor management, and stock flow while partnering with district leaders to deliver key business priorities and developmental opportunities for your team.

About the Role

This isn’t a typical retail leadership role. As a Retail Manager, you will lead the Retail Operations team - owning the sales floor, customer experience and team performance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will play a critical role in driving store performance through strong leadership, real-time decision making and hands‑on execution. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will:

• Lead, coach and develop a large front‑end team
• Drive sales performance through stock flow, merchandising and in‑store execution
• Take ownership of daily and weekly trading results
• Partner with Store and District leadership to plan and deliver on key business priorities
• Build capability across your team in a high‑change, fast‑paced environment

What Your Day Might Look Like

No two days are the same, but your focus will always be on leading your team and delivering results.

• Review sales and performance data, adjusting the floor to maximise results
• Lead and coach team members to lift service, productivity and standards
• Manage high‑volume stock flow and ensure the shop floor is fully optimised
• Support onboarding and development of new team members
• Work closely with your Store Manager to plan upcoming trading periods and initiatives

You are a hands‑on leader who thrives in fast‑paced environments and knows how to get the best out of a team. You’ll bring:

• Experience leading teams in retail, hospitality, logistics or other high‑volume environments
• The ability to make decisions, prioritise effectively and perform under pressure
• Strong coaching skills and the confidence to lead from the front
• A focus on outcomes—you take ownership of performance and drive results
