Job summary

Harvey Norman in Osborne Park is seeking a Retail Manager to lead our Flooring Team and deliver Great Service, Always! to customers. You will drive sales, coach a team, and ensure exceptional service in-store.

This full-time role requires flooring knowledge, a results-driven mindset, and flexibility across trading hours, including weekends. Base earnings are advertised, with commissions and incentives available.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-focused retail business.
• High level flooring product knowledge (carpets, timber, tiles).
• Ability to measure, draw, read plans and sell flooring in home.
• Current driver’s license and own transport preferred.
• Experience in retail management with a proven sales track record
• Ability to coach, lead and motivate a team
• Ability to service customers while managing tasks around their needs
• Going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer-focused problem solving
• Experience resolving customer complaints and ensuring timely, accurate service
• Passion to exceed store sales targets
• Flexibility across retail trading hours including weekends and holidays

• Full Time 38 hours
• Guaranteed base earnings $80,500 - $85,000

What we require:

• Experience in (or ability to work in) a customer focused, successful retail business
• A high level of Flooring product knowledge such as carpets, timber floors and tiles to support customer queries
• Must be able to measure, draw, read plans and sell flooring products in home
• Current driver's license and own mode of transport preferable car is essential
• Experience in retail management with an excellent sales track record
• Have the ability to maximize sales, assist with coaching, leading and motivating an enthusiastic team
• Ability to service your customers while managing work tasks around their needs
• Going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer focused problem solving
• Experience of resolving customer complaints and making quick decisions to ensure happy customers and timely accurate services
• Passion to exceed individual and store sales targets
• Flexibility across retail trading hours including weekends, public holidays and late-night trades
