Australia Post is seeking a Retail Customer Service Officer to deliver friendly service to customers in our offices. You will handle sales, transactions, identity services and promote our products, while building relationships with customers and supporting mail and parcel duties.
You’ll join a diverse team, receive extensive paid training and access to Post Perks and allowances. You’ll need to be able to lift up to 16 kg and stand for shifts, with a focus on community service and accuracy.
Working with our customers at Australia Post isn't just about helping Australians post, shop, bank or pay bills. It's also about helping Aussie businesses service their own customers, keeping millions of people connected and building community resilience. That’s a big responsibility, but you're the go‑to teams with the know-how, delivering essential and excellent service for people every day.
As our Retail Customer Service Officer, you’ll play an important part in helping Australians service their own businesses, keeping millions of people connected and building community resilience. Every year around one million customers walk into one of our Australia Post Offices. It’s our retail teams who make sure that every experience they have is a great one. And while they do, they’re supported by a welcoming team, take part in ongoing training, and are guided on career development opportunities.
It takes a lot of us to deliver for every Australian – and it’s important to us that our people behind the parcels reflect the people receiving them. We come from all walks. Different backgrounds, different ages, different genders, different sexualities and different abilities, but we all believe in the same purpose.
We welcome people all ages, genders and backgrounds – including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, LGBTQIA+ communities, and refugees. We’re a Disability Confident Recruiter, committed to making our hiring process and workplace inclusive and barrier‑free. We’re also working hard to remove bias and build a gender‑equitable experience for everyone who joins us. If you’ve got questions about accessibility, reach out to our Diversity & Inclusion team at inclusivecareers@auspost.com.au or on 03 8737 9415.
