Square is seeking a Retail Brand Ambassador in Melbourne to join BOO Group, representing Square in metro stores. This full-time role (Mon-Fri) focuses on in-store demonstrations, educating staff, and delivering positive consumer experiences to boost awareness and sales.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in B2C tech/retail with strong relationship and presentation skills. Australian working rights are required.

Role Description

This is a full-time role joining our Retail Brand Ambassador program for Square, covering stores across primarily metro Melbourne.

Square makes payments hardware and business software for small businesses, sold through JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Officeworks and The Good Guys.

The Square Retail Brand Ambassador acts as the face of Square in retail environments, boosting brand awareness, driving sales, and creating positive consumer experiences through face-to-face interaction. The role includes educating and training Retail Sales People (RSPs) on product features, conducting demonstrations, and representing Square’s brand values, working in-store to build relationships, share product knowledge, and delivering feedback to the both Square and BOO Group stakeholders.

Customer Focus: Excellent ability to build relationships with retailers and key stakeholders

Outgoing Personality: Strong interpersonal skills to confidently engage with retailers and consumers as required. Strong presentation and verbal communication skills.

Retail Experience: 2-5 years experience in a B2C tech field team, in retail, or promotional roles, preferably within the Consumer Electronics or Technology channels but not .

Problem-Solving: Proactively identifying issues and providing quick, effective solutions.

An appreciation and understanding for small businesses would be beneficial.
