Job description

Retail Assistant Store Manager - Werribee Central - Part Time

Every Sunday off, and a real path to running your own store.

That's the short version. Here's the rest.

The step up: Plenty of places make you "Assistant Manager" and leave you there. Not here. We're opening and renovating stores as we grow into Dollarama Australia, which means ASMs who are good at this move up. This is the role that gets you to running your own store, and here that's a real path, not a maybe.

The roster: (because it's what you really want to know): No Sunday hours. Every second Saturday off. Three days off in a row every second weekend. That's rare in retail. Here, it's just how we roster.

The job: You'll help run the store hands-on and on the floor, leading the team alongside your Store Manager and stepping up when they're away. You'll be in the work, stock, service, standards, learning every part of running a store by doing it.

Why now is the moment: The Reject Shop is becoming Dollarama Australia, part of one of the most successful discount retailers in the world. That's not a logo change. We're investing in the Australian business from the ground up, the stores, the technology, the branding, the people and the way we work. Get in as an ASM now, learn how a global retailer really operates, and grow as fast as we do.

You: You've led a shift, maybe a supervisor, run a department, trained new starters or held the keys somewhere, retail, fast food, fuel, hospitality, a chemist, anywhere fast-paced. You're ready for more. No discount variety experience needed. We'll teach you the rest.

What you get: $29.45 base hourly rate + penalty rates + overtime rates each week + 17.5% leave loading, and structured development built to get you to Store Manager.

The Reject Shop at heart. Dollarama Australia for the future.
