Job summary

Seed Heritage is hiring an Assistant Manager for our Melbourne Epping Store, to lead a passionate team and deliver an elevated customer experience with deep product knowledge and relationship-building.

You will work with Store Manager to drive engagement, coaching, and a high-performing team culture, ensuring sales targets and KPIs are met while maintaining operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role in fast-paced fashion retail.
• Ability to mentor and motivate a team to achieve sales and KPI targets.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to manage wages and shrinkage in line with budgets.
• Attention to detail with passion for styling and visual merchandising.
• Experience handling stock volumes and inventory management.
• Genuine alignment with Seed Heritage values and customer service excellence.

THE ROLE:

• Assist with driving a customer-focused culture, creating a memorable and seamless experience with every interaction.
• Support the Store Manager to engage and empower the team through ongoing training, mentoring and collaboration.
• Work with leadership to build an effective and profitable store.
• Motivate the team to meet sales targets and business key performance indicators.
• Support with driving operational excellence, managing rosters and preparing back-of-house administration.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Experience in a similar leadership or supervisory role in a fast-paced high volume fashion retail store.
• A supportive leader with the ability to motivate and mentor a team to achieve success.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen with an ability to exceed sales, wages and shrinkage KPI’s and in line with budgets.
• An eye for detail, with a passion for styling and Visual Merchandising.
• Exposure to large stock volumes and stock management.

• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships by delivering exceptional customer service
