Job summary

Harvey Norman is seeking a skilled copy editor for GP Advertising, based at our Homebush West office. You will source, edit and proofread copy across all advertising channels and ensure content meets the GP Advertising quality standard.

You will collaborate with the in-house advertising team to meet deadlines, liaise with internal staff and external stakeholders, and maintain files. A passion for writing and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Production and based onsite at our Homebush West corporate office your role will involve sourcing, editing and proofreading copy across all advertising channels. You will collaborate closely with the in-house advertising team to ensure that all content meets the agreed brief and complies with the GP Advertising quality standard.

Responsibilities include;

• Meeting deadlines in line with the production schedule.
• Liaising with both internal staff, business units and external stakeholders.
• Ensuring all advertising produced is compliant with consumer laws.
• Maintaining and updating files as required.
• Other ad hoc duties to assist with the efficient running of GP Advertising.
  

About you

You will have a passion for writing, coupled with the ability to transform creative ideas into captivating copy that draws customers into reading your pieces.

You will also have:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
• Capable of working both autonomously and in a team environment.
• Proficient with the use of Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Great attention to detail.
