Job summary

Amazon Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Australia to collaborate with Area Managers in driving innovation and ensuring effective execution within transportation networks.

You will lead a team, monitor attendance, staff levels, and performance, and coach for continuous improvement while aligning with SOPs and safety policies. This 24/7 role requires a proactive leader who can adapt to shifting schedules and report on metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience managing teams.
• Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Foster a strong health and safety culture and ensure policy adherence.
• Oversee daily departmental tasks and debrief staff with complete paperwork.
• Perform duties in line with SOPs and allocate tasks to meet targets.
• Maintain staffing levels, manage call outs, attendance and coaching.
• Support onboarding and training of new associates.
• Collaborate to track, analyze and report metrics.
• Identify factors contributing to objective achievement or shortfalls.
• Monitor associate hours and schedules and address process issues.
• Report equipment defects in a timely manner.
