Job summary

Abril Restorations is seeking a hands-on Restoration Technician to lead restoration projects across residential, commercial and insurance repairs, delivering safe, high-quality outcomes for clients.

You will manage projects from start to finish, supervise on-site teams, liaise with clients and insurers, and ensure compliance with WHS standards while adapting to after-hours and emergency responses.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, construction, or insurance repairs.

• Current driver’s license and willingness to work flexible hours.

At Abril Restorations, we help people get back on their feet after property damage caused by water, fire, storms, mould and other environmental events. We're looking for a hands‑on Restoration Technician to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering outstanding restoration solutions to our clients.

About the Role

As a Restoration Technician, you'll be responsible for managing and delivering restoration projects from start to finish while ensuring safety, quality and customer satisfaction remain the top priorities.

You will work across residential, commercial and insurance restoration projects, liaising with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out water, fire, mould and environmental restoration works
• Manage small to large restoration projects from commencement through to completion
• Supervise labour hire staff and subcontractors on site
• Prepare and manage project schedules and workflows
• Inspect works and maintain quality standards throughout each project
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety and environmental requirements
• Communicate professionally with clients, insurers and stakeholders
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide restoration advice where required
• Operate restoration equipment and ensure all plant and equipment is used safely
• Complete project documentation, reports and tablet‑based systems accurately
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment
• Participate in an on‑call roster and emergency response works, including after‑hours, weekends and public holidays when required

• Current driver’s licence
