Job summary

The Agostino Group operates Subway restaurants and related outlets across South Australia. We are seeking a full-time Restaurant Manager for our Stirling Subway restaurant to lead and develop the team and ensure outstanding guest service.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will coordinate daily restaurant operations, drive the team to meet customer needs, and uphold safety, food safety, and brand standards while managing budgets and administration.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant operations preferred.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service to ensure high guest satisfaction.
• Recruit, induct, train and manage a high-performing team.
• Ensure compliance with work health and safety, food safety, and Subway brand standards.
• Monitor inventory, perform stock takes and manage site cash flow.
• Undertake administration such as managing budgets, invoicing and compliance.
• Lead by example and drive the team to meet targets.

About Us:

The Agostino Group is a 100% South Australian owned company with its head office based in Adelaide. We own and operate 11 Subway restaurants across South Australia in addition to a number of AMPM Petrol and Convenience stores across South Australia and Victoria as well as Carl’s Jr. restaurants across South Australia and Queensland.

We are looking to appoint a full time Restaurant Manager to lead and develop the team in our Stirling Subway restaurant.

The Role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for independently coordinating all facets of the daily operations of the restaurant while successfully driving your teams to meet the needs of the restaurant and organisation.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Recruit, induct, train and manage a high performing team.
• Ensure restaurant compliance with work health safety regulations, food safety requirements and Subway brand standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, perform stock takes and manage the cash flow of the site.
• Undertake administration duties such as managing restaurant budgets, invoicing and other organisational administrative compliance.
• Lead by example.

Due to the nature of our industry, it will also be expected you work some weekends and public holidays.

You will be a mature minded, energetic professional with a strong ‘Guest First’ mindset, who is looking for a challenge and is prepared to work alongside their team.

You will be a natural leader who can think on their feet while delivering within set time frames.
