Job summary

El Jannah is a renowned Australian brand serving Lebanese-Australian food since 1998. We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead one of our Sydney-area restaurants, driving day-to-day operations, guest experience and team culture.

You will build and mentor a high-performing management group, ensure food safety and WHS compliance, and drive profitability while maintaining the EJ Way of service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Proven ability to coach and develop large teams.
• Strong understanding of food safety, WHS and compliance.
• Commercial acumen including labour and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
• Champion guest-first service standards across the team.
• Develop and coach management and staff to high performance.
• Ensure food quality, cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, rostering and performance management.
• Manage labour, costs, and operational administration.
• Monitor sales and profitability and deliver against targets.
• Oversee stock, ordering, and supplier relationships.
• Address guest feedback proactively and professionally.
• Build strong local community connections.
