Job summary

El Jannah in Sydney is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead one of our restaurants and deliver the El Jannah experience daily. You will drive guest satisfaction, coach a large team, and maintain high standards of food quality, safety and commercial performance.

In this senior, hands-on role you will lead the management team, optimise labour and costs, and build strong local community connections while upholding our brand culture.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager in QSR or fast-paced hospitality.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, inspire and develop large teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with labour, cost and inventory management.
• Solid knowledge of food safety, WHS and compliance requirements.
• A calm, confident leadership style under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Champion guest-first culture and service standards.
• Build and develop a high-performing management team.
• Drive food quality, cleanliness, safety and WHS compliance.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, rostering and performance management.
• Manage labour, payroll and admin tasks.
• Monitor sales, costs and profitability against targets.
• Manage stock, inventory, ordering and suppliers.
• Handle guest feedback professionally.
• Foster connections within the local community.
