Job summary

Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic and service-driven Restaurant Manager to lead the restaurant and bar operations, mainly evening shifts with weekend work as required, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and developing the Food & Beverage team.

The ideal candidate brings 12+ months of supervisory or managerial experience in hospitality, 3+ years in restaurant or hotel settings, plus strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 12+ months supervisory or managerial experience in a similar role.
• 3+ years’ experience working in a restaurant or hotel environment.
• Solid understanding of alcohol service (preferred but not essential).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.
• High level of self-motivation, confidence, and leadership capability.
• Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar qualification (preferred but not essential).
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

• Assist with stock control, ordering, and reporting as required.
• Drive guest satisfaction, service excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description

Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel are looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Restaurant Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.

This role is essential in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient service, and the development of the Food & Beverage team. The successful candidate will predominantly work evening shifts and must be available to work weekends as required.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee and ensure smooth, efficient, and professional daily operations of the restaurant & bar.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the property’s food and beverage offerings to promote to guests.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team during service periods to ensure quality service, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

Salary: $79,521.25 to $83,000
