Oaks Moranbah Suites is seeking a friendly, flexible Guest Experience Attendant to join the team on a part-time basis. The role covers Front Office and Housekeeping tasks, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week and a rotating Monday to Sunday roster in Moranbah, QLD.

You will greet guests, assist with check-ins/outs, help with room servicing, provide local recommendations, and maintain presentation standards. The role requires strong communication and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience across Front Office and Housekeeping.
• Experience delivering high-quality service within a hotel or customer-facing environment.
• Excellent communication and professional written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests on arrival and manage check-ins/check-outs warmly.
• Assist with housekeeping duties including servicing rooms and public areas.
• Provide local recommendations and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Support linen handling, room setup, and presentation standards.
• Ensure rooms and public areas meet brand and cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Process payments accurately and maintain guest records.

Job Description

Oaks Moranbah Suites are looking for a friendly, flexible, and guest-focused Guest Experience Attendant to join our team, someone who can confidently assist across both Front Office and Housekeeping operations on a part-timebasis

This is a hands-on, dynamic role perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a guest-facing environment. You'll be a key part role in the overall hotel experience, ensuring our guests feel welcome, well cared for, and delighted from check-in to check-out, while also assisting within housekeeping operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests on arrival and handle check-ins/check-outs with efficiency and warmth
• Assist with housekeeping duties including servicing rooms and public areas as required
• Provide local recommendations, handle guest requests, and respond to feedback promptly
• Support linen handling, room setup, and presentation standards
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to brand and cleanliness standards
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest needs are met
• Process payments accurately and maintain up-to-date guest records

Shift Details (subject to change):

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• Part-time position with a minimum of 10 hours per week
• Weekday shifts:
  • Scheduled within 8:00am &6:00pm
• Scheduled within 10.00am & 3.00pm

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):
Monday - Friday: $27.97 per hour
Saturday: $34.96 per hour
Sunday: $41.96 per hour

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

• Previous hospitality experience across Front Office and Housekeeping would be highly beneficial
• Demonstrated background in delivering high-quality service within a hotel, hospitality, or customer-facing environment.
• Exceptional ability to articulate information clearly and effectively across various mediums, ensuring precise and professional correspondence.
• A positive, adaptable attitude and excellent communication skills
• Confidence in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about creating positive guest experiences, with a focus on attentive service and resolving issues efficiently.
• Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and evenings
