Job summary

HammondCare in Dubbo invites a dedicated Cottage Manager to lead a team of about 15 carers at the Overnight Respite Cottage, operating 24/7 with Monday–Friday day shifts. You will recruit, mentor and supervise staff, manage budgets and quality standards, and provide compassionate leadership to clients and their carers to deliver HammondCare's model of care.

Certificate IV in Aged Care and 2 years’ experience are preferred; non-clinical applicants may be supported with internal clinical

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Aged Care and a minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a passionate and dedicated team of staff to deliver HammondCare's model of care with its Overnight Respite Cottage service in Dubbo.
• Recruit, mentor and lead staff, manage budgets, ensure quality and oversee all technical aspects of care provision at the Respite Cottage.
• Direct care of clients and provide professional, capable and aligned leadership for the team to deliver individualised care.
• Make a significant difference in improving the quality of life for those we care for and their carers.
