Job summary

Redox Ltd is seeking a Resource Recovery Coordinator to manage Reject Stock across our sites in Australia, maximizing recovery value through sale, reprocessing or reuse, and ensuring compliant disposal when required.

You will maintain visibility of Reject Stock, prompt action from responsible staff, and drive items through to efficient resolutions with strong emphasis on safety and environmental outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in chemicals, manufacturing, warehousing, inventory control, quality, recycling or waste management.
• Basic chemistry or chemical-handling knowledge.
• Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets, dangerous goods, chemical compatibility and waste classification.
• Experience obtaining and comparing contractor quotations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate register of Reject Stock, including location, quantity, condition, value, reason for rejection and proposed action.
• Regularly review ageing Reject Stock and prioritise items by value, volume, storage risk and urgency.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to determine actions and processing timeframes.
• Prepare regular reports on Reject Stock holdings, recoveries, disposals, costs and trends.
• Identify reuse and disposal options based on safety, compliance, environmental outcomes, practicality.
• Develop relationships with recycling, reprocessing and waste-management providers.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage numerous outstanding items.
• Confident communication and follow-up skills.
• Practical problem-solving ability and sound commercial judgement.
• Willingness to complete relevant internal and external training.
