Job summary

Re.Group, an Australian-owned recycling and recovery solutions provider, is seeking an Operations Supervisor for its Browns Plains MRF project in Queensland. You will oversee end-to-end plant operations, lead and develop teams, monitor production and quality, and drive improvements for reliability and efficiency.

You will ensure safety and regulatory compliance, liaise with maintenance for asset life cycles, and contribute to performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within waste management, heavy industrial, manufacturing or MRF environments.
• Strong people leadership capability, with experience managing, coaching and developing teams.
• Sound understanding of safety management systems and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to operate, troubleshoot and optimise MRF or similar industrial equipment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• High level of computer literacy, including reporting, documentation and operational systems.
• Flexible approach to work, including availability for weekends or overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site assets and support optimisation of equipment life cycles in collaboration with maintenance teams.
• Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring the health and wellbeing of all employees.
• Forecast labour requirements and support workforce planning across shifts.
• Provide operational input into shutdowns, plant upgrades and process improvements.
• Prepare operational reports and contribute to performance reviews and decision-making.
