Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co.'s Club Wyndham Dinner Plain is seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to oversee daily maintenance operations of the resort, rooms, and amenities.

You will manage inventories, oversee grounds and gardens, and ensure safety and compliance while working a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance and grounds/gardens.
• Understanding of health and safety principles and chemical handling.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Able to interact politely with owners and guests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the maintenance department.
• Maintain resort rooms and amenities and manage inventories.
• Care for equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete department paperwork and care for grounds.

How You’ll Shine

The Maintenance Officer is responsible for the day to day operation of the maintenance department, including maintaining all resort rooms and amenities, maintaining inventories, caring for equipment and performing the resort preventative maintenance program and completing all department related paperwork. This role will also be responsible for maintaining the resort grounds and gardens.

What You’ll Bring

To be considered for this great opportunity you will be able to demonstrate the following;

• Previous experience in a similar role desirable (maintenance and grounds/gardens)
• Understanding of basic Occupational Health & Safety principles and chemical handling
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and problem solving skills
• Interact with owners and guests in a polite and friendly manner
• The ability to work a flexible roster, with weekend shifts and public holidays availability
