Job summary

Palmer Coolum Resort is seeking a skilled IT Support Officer to provide timely Tier 1 and 2 technical support across desktop and AV platforms at our on-site resort in Queensland. You will diagnose and resolve IT issues, manage assets, and support teaching spaces and conference facilities during the pre-opening phase.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT qualification or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of IT and data security principles.
• Experience supporting mobile devices and mobile technologies.
• Strong customer service skills in an IT service environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to document processes.
• Good problem-solving, prioritisation and organisation under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and 2 support for desktop and AV issues across the resort.
• Assist offsite IT management to install networking, wifi and AV hardware.
• Maintain IT assets and support teaching spaces and AV systems with modern tools.
