Job summary

MedRecruit Limited is seeking a locum medical practitioner to cover duties in a classic outback NSW town. The position runs from 18 January to 1 February 2027, with travel and accommodation provided. You will join a multi-disciplinary team at a 98-bed hospital delivering cancer care, gynaecology, mental health and general medical and surgical services.

All rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes and casual loading where applicable. Current AHPRA registration is mandatory to practice in NSW.

Qualifications

• Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
• Locum cover from 18 Jan to 1 February 2027.

Located in a classic outback town with heaps of personality, this 98-bed hospital is a major referal centre for the region. It provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services including caner care, gynaecology, mental health and general medical and surgical services.

The recent $30-million upgrades and redevelopments have been completed, with an upgraded oncology unit and ambulatory wing reconfiguration. A Royal Flying Doctors Base is also located nearby.
