Job summary

MedRecruit Limited is seeking an Emergency Medicine Registrar for a locum assignment in Broken Hill, NSW. The shift runs for 5-6 December 2026, with travel and accommodation provided and rates inclusive of superannuation and casual loading where applicable.

Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration and be PGY4+ ready to join a multidisciplinary team at a major regional hospital serving the NSW outback.

Located in a classic outback town with heaps of personality, this 98-bed hospital is a major referal centre for the region. It provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services including caner care, gynaecology, mental health and general medical and surgical services.

The recent $30-million upgrades and redevelopments have been completed, with an upgraded oncology unit and ambulatory wing reconfiguration. A Royal Flying Doctors Base is also located nearby.
