MedRecruit Limited is seeking a Registrar - Emergency Medicine for a locum assignment in Broken Hill, NSW, Australia. The role runs 26–28 October 2026 and offers travel and accommodation as part of the package.

AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner is required. Join a multi-disciplinary team at a classic outback hospital, a 98-bed facility serving the region with in-/outpatient services, including cancer care and gynecology.

Qualifications

• Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
• Be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing services to the NSW outback.
• Located in a classic outback town with heaps of personality, this 98-bed hospital is a major referal centre for the region.
• The hospital provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services including cancer care, gynaecology, mental health and general medical and surgical services.

The recent $30-million upgrades and redevelopments have been completed, with an upgraded oncology unit and ambulatory wing reconfiguration. A Royal Flying Doctors Base is also located nearby.
