selectability is seeking a passionate Youth Worker to join our growing team in Ingham. This casual role supports children and young people with diverse needs in our residential program, providing stable, trauma-informed care and advocacy to promote wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have clear communication, strong record-keeping, and the ability to work across a 24/7 roster. A Cert IV qualification and related safeguarding certifications are required or available upon commencement.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert IV qualification recognised under the child safety minimum qualification standards.
• Hope and Healing certification for residential care to be obtained upon commencement.
• Current P1 C class Queensland driver’s licence.
• Fully comprehensive insured vehicle compliant with road rules and child restraints.
• Nationally recognised first aid and CPR certificates (ability to obtain).
• Child Safety & Personal History Screening check.
• Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (ability to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (ability to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You'
