Job summary

Family Centered Support Services is hiring Team Members to support Children and Young People in Residential Out-of-Home Care across our therapeutic rural properties. This role focuses on engagement, daily care, and helping young people achieve social, educational, cultural and emotional goals within a technology-reduced model of care.

You will deliver hands-on life skills coaching, develop Positive Behaviour Support Plans, and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's Licence (Open or P2).
• Minimum Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent.
• Ability to work across a 24-hour model, including sleepovers.
• Approved LSC check through the department, or ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to obtain a Blue Card.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support teaching life skills (cooking, cleaning, budgeting, homework, personal care).
• Develop support documentation including Positive Behaviour Support Plans and reports.
• Assess developmental progress and liaise with stakeholders to share information.
• Create activity plans and facilitate community engagement for the Young Person.
• Safely support behaviours using Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) techniques.
