Underground Mining Operators - Multiple positions available

Victory Minerals Pty Ltd – Ballarat Gold Mine is a prominent gold exploration and production company located in Victoria's rich gold belt. Under new ownership, the company is on the cusp of entering a new phase of growth, focusing on expanding operations to the west. The Ballarat Gold Mine, which began gold production in December 2005, consistently produces between 30,000 and 40,000 ounces of gold annually.

• Batch Plant
• Grader Operator
• Water Truck Drivers
• Service Crew
• Charge Up operator
• Loader Operator

Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various vehicles and equipment in an underground mining environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting daily mining operations to ensure productivity, safety, and compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

• Australian Driver's License
• High standard of safe behaviour, with a strong team focus, work ethic and a capacity for handling multiple tasks in a dynamic production environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work with minimal direct supervision in a small team environment.
• Commitment to a respectful and cooperative work environment in line with all company policies and expectations
• Previous experience in role applying for
• Previous experience working in underground mines
• Current Explosives (Black ticket) license for Charge-up Operators

Hours and Rate

All roles are being offered as a permanent, full-time role, on crew. Hourly rate will depend on role applying for.

Hours:
Days: 7:00am to 7:00pm; Nights: 7:00pm to 7:00am

Start: ASAP
