Job summary

Whitsunday Regional Council is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee residential and commercial construction projects from initiation to completion. You will coordinate trades, manage subcontractors and maintain schedules while upholding safety and quality standards on site.

Work closely with project managers and stakeholders, providing on-site leadership and helping drive productivity. Occasional on-site support may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Supervisor/Foreman or similar leadership role in residential and/or commercial construction.
• Experience managing insurance-related building projects is highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, site coordination and project sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications.
• Sound understanding of WHS requirements and risk management practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage competing priorities.
• Current Construction White Card.
• Current Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of multiple residential and commercial projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate site activities, trades and subcontractors.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure high safety and quality standards.
• Provide on-site leadership and liaise with project managers and stakeholders.
