Job summary

BHP Group is seeking experienced Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters for Olympic Dam in Roxby Downs, SA, to join Surface Operations. You will undertake preventative maintenance, repairs and fault-finding on fixed plant equipment across refinery and related areas.

Residential living is offered with a week-on/week-off roster, home every night, and allowances including housing options and relocation help. A recognised Australian Mechanical Trade qualification and C Class Licence are required.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised mechanical trade qualification is required.
• C Class Driver Licence is required.
• Experience with fixed plant maintenance and health & safety.
• Ability to work across planned and breakdown maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety, environment and sustainable development.
• Undertake preventative maintenance inspections and recommend follow-up actions.
• Repair and service fixed plant equipment and respond to breakdowns.
• Collaborate to fault find equipment and restore plant availability.
