The Auto Electrician role at BHP Group in Olympic Dam involves mobile fleet auto-electrical maintenance across surface and underground assets, on a 7/7 rotating roster with FIFO from Adelaide or DIDO from regional SA.

Join a large, safety-focused mining operation near Roxby Downs; you will support planned and unplanned maintenance and work with a crew to achieve production and safety goals.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Auto-Electrical trade qualifications (or a closely related field).
• Experience with heavy machinery in mining environments.
• Underground mining experience highly regarded (not essential).
• Rigger, Dogger, Crane, FL and Bridge & Gantry tickets are advantageous.
• Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
• Proactive team player able to work unsupervised.
• Ability to communicate across multiple levels and disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Promote safe work practices and follow established standards and procedures.
• Assist with planned maintenance and complete tasks on time.
• Provide Auto-Electrical skills for unplanned or breakdown maintenance.
• Maintain mobile equipment in workshop or field as part of the breakdown team.
• Collaborate with team to maintain accountability and productive relationships.
• Provide feedback to shift maintenance supervisors on job progress.
