Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT, located in Dubbo, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a permanent part-time position at Kintyre Lodge Aged Care Home. You will provide compassionate clinical care, support a rotating night shift roster, and supervise a team to ensure outstanding resident care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current AHPRA Registration is required.
• Clinical leadership experience and ability to work with a team is desirable.
• Understand requirements of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Excellent written & verbal communication and ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.

Located at Dubbo, Kintyre Lodge Aged Care Home is a welcoming and homely aged care home offering 24-hour, care and support to residents.

As a Registered Nurse, you will enable individuals to live well by applying loving care in all that you do and inspiring your team to do the same. In understanding the unique needs and preferences of each resident in your care, you’ll deliver best practice clinical care that leads with heart. You’ll develop genuine connections and build confidence and trust with your resident and their loved ones whilst supervising and leading your team.

This position operates on a rotating fortnightly night shift roster:

• Week 1: Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday | 10:30pm to 7:00am
• Week 2: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday | 10:30pm to 7:00am

We offer a competitive salary based on your previous experience from $45.64 - $55.27/hr + superannuation + penalties + salary packaging.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Hold experience in a clinical leadership role and the proven ability to work with a team
• Understand requirements of the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
