Job summary

UniLodge Edith Cowan University – Joondalup is seeking a passionate, people-focused Residential Life Manager. This full-time role builds a welcoming and inclusive student community, leads wellbeing initiatives, mentors Residential Advisors, and brings student life to life through engaging programs and events.

You will collaborate with university teams to design programs, maintain community standards, and uphold safety, diversity, and belonging across residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Proven experience leading and developing teams.
• Experience in wellbeing and student support.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Current National Police Check.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and implementation of programs that foster community engagement and wellbeing.
• Recruit, train and motivate Residential Advisors to deliver high-quality support.
• Monitor resident welfare and refer to university/local services.
• Build a positive community culture promoting belonging, safety, diversity, and respect.
• Maintain communications with university departments, contractors, and internal teams.

In this rewarding role, you'll help create a welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant community where residents feel connected, supported, and empowered to thrive. You'll lead wellbeing initiatives, mentor a team of Residential Advisors, and bring student life to life through engaging programs, events, and community-building activities.

• Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of programs and events that foster community engagement, wellbeing, and student success.
• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate RAs to deliver high-quality support, build positive relationships, and uphold community standards.
