Job summary

Weeks Homes in Adelaide, part of the NEX Building Group, seeks a Production Estimating Manager to lead the estimating team and deliver accurate construction cost estimates. You will drive workflows, coach staff, and collaborate with procurement to maintain pricing controls.

Ideal candidates will have residential construction estimating leadership experience, a relevant tertiary degree, and a track record of improving estimating accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production estimating in residential construction.
• Tertiary qualification in construction-related field.
• Ability to drive process improvements to enhance accuracy and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflows, resources, purchase orders and estimating budgets to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Identify and resolve issues, drive process improvements and implement policy changes.
• Lead, coach and develop the estimating team through regular feedback.
• Analyse estimating data, invoicing and budgets to improve accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with Procurement to maintain pricing structures and cost controls.
