Job summary

Sekisui House Australia is seeking a commercially astute Project Manager to lead the delivery of premium residential developments in NSW. You will manage projects from inception to handover, ensuring safety, time, budget, and quality targets are met while aligning with the Projects Business Plan.

Ideal candidates bring a tertiary qualification in a related field, 5+ years of delivery experience, and a proven track record in residential construction, with proficiency in MS Project and Aconex to

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in a related field such as Property Development, Civil Engineering, Construction, Architecture, Town Planning, or Property Economics.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering medium-to-large-scale residential built-form developments from initiation to completion.
Proven track record in project and development management.
Deep understanding of residential building approvals, construction processes, and sustainable design principles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project and Aconex.

Responsibilities

Time & Budget: Manage project timelines, feasibility budgets, and bank drawdowns during construction to minimise risk and optimise cash flow.
Design & Quality: Oversee the design process to protect design vision and manage defect inspection/rectification for customer handover.
Contracts & Administration: Manage building contracts, compliance, project reporting, and filing systems using industry software.
Planning & Compliance: Prepare property development plans and ensure full compliance with planning, environmental, and OH&S policies.
Stakeholder Relationships: Directly manage relationships with external consultants, builders, and stakeholder groups across the Sekisui House group.
Team Support & Culture: Assist the PD and Development Managers with financial reporting, risk identification, and contract administration while promoting a professional, ethical culture.
