Qualifications

• Proven experience as conveyancer or property paralegal in Queensland.
• Strong knowledge of local conveyancing processes.
• Experience with contract preparation and settlements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review contracts of sale in accordance with Queensland property laws.
• Conduct property searches and advise clients on encumbrances or zoning issues.
• Assist buyers and sellers with disclosure obligations.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel on special terms or issues from inspections.
• Monitor critical contract dates and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, conveyancers, lenders, and real estate agents.
• Prepare settlement figures and final statements, including rate, water, and body corporate adjustments.
• Manage transfer of funds and discharge of mortgages at settlement.
• Draft all necessary documents and lodge with Titles Office.
