Job summary

Blackhurst Law is a well-established, fast-growing law firm on the Gold Coast seeking a full-time Conveyancing Paralegal based in Bundall. You will manage residential conveyancing for both sellers and buyers with autonomy and support from the conveyancing team.

You will handle contract reviews, liaise with agents, solicitors and lenders, prepare settlement calculations and QRO documents, and finalise files after settlement.

Qualifications

• A-Z conveyancing experience (from contract review/drafting through to settlement).
• Experience with PEXA.
• Thorough attention to detail.
• Great organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure.
• Motivation to be part of a high performing team.

Responsibilities

• Contract reviews/drafting for prospective clients.
• Handling of residential sale and purchase conveyances.
• Liaising with real estate agents, solicitors, mortgage brokers and financial institutions.
• Preparing settlement calculations.
• Preparing and lodging QRO documents & Transfer Duty.
• Finalising files after settlement.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a full-time Conveyancing Paralegal based in our Bundall office. You will be experienced in all aspects of residential conveyancing acting for both sellers and buyers, with a keen focus on customer service. While having the autonomy to run your own files (no micromanaging), you will be working along side our existing conveyancing team with close access to our Principal (with an open door policy).

We are looking for someone with a keen interest in conveyancing, who values working within a genuinely supportive team and is confident in their conveyancing skills. Your responsibilities will include:
