Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson to deliver detailed drawings for residential projects, including homes, duplexes and townhouses. You will work with design and construction teams to translate concepts into precise technical documentation.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, knowledge of Australian building codes, and a keen eye for detail. Visa sponsorship is available for suitable candidates, with a collaborative drafting

Qualifications

Qualification in Architectural Drafting or related discipline.
Previous experience as Architectural Draftsperson essential.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
Attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections and construction details.
Convert design concepts into technical documentation using AutoCAD, Revit or similar CAD software.
Assist with Development Application (DA) and Construction Documentation (CD) preparation.
Ensure drawings comply with NCC and relevant Australian standards.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants and construction teams throughout project delivery.
Revise and update drawings in response to design changes and project requirements.
Conduct site measurements and incorporate findings into project documentation.
Maintain drawing registers and document control across projects.
Support timely project delivery while maintaining high drafting standards.
Identify and resolve drafting and design issues efficiently.
