Job summary

HumanKapital is seeking a Draftsperson to develop residential projects from customer briefs and initial sketches through to detailed working drawings. You will work within a small team, producing drawings in ArchiCAD and ensuring compliance with DCPs and the NSW Complying Development Code.

The role requires a architecture-related degree and 3-5 years of drafting experience, with strong attention to detail and ability to translate briefs into practical designs while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ArchiCAD is required.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Ability to interpret and apply Development Control Plans (DCPs) and NSW Complying Development Code (CDC).

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer briefs and sales sketches to ensure satisfaction.
• Produce full sets of working drawings at various stages using ArchiCAD.
• Ensure drawings comply with DCPs and CDC.
• Follow established company processes and systems.
• Work efficiently in a small team to meet timelines and maintain quality.
