Job summary

Carinity Brownesholme in Queensland is seeking a part-time Activities Coordinator to lead and coordinate resident activities, supporting emotional and physical rehabilitation through engaging recreational programs.

You will report to the Residential Manager, work 30 hours per fortnight (Wed/Thu in the first week, Thu/Fri in the second week), and bring a Certificate III in Aged Care or Lifestyle with experience and an active NDIS check.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or Lifestyle is required.
• Experience in an Aged Care environment coordinating activities.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Activities programs for residents to boost emotional and physical rehabilitation through recreational activities.
• Deliver fun, meaningful activities that boost residents’ wellbeing.
• Support the Care team and work within a not-for-profit environment.
