Job summary

MedRecruit Limited is assisting Tweed Valley Hospital in recruiting a Resident Medical Officer (Medicine) for locum cover from 16 to 18 November 2026. The role requires an RMO with PGY3+ level training and current AHPRA registration.

The hospital is part of a major referral and teaching network in the Tweed-Byron region, offering a broad range of inpatient, outpatient and emergency services. Rates are 115 AUD per hour, with travel and accommodation provided.

Tweed Valley Hospital provides a wide range of inpatient, day only and outpatient services in a brand new, state of the art facility.

Our services include emergency, trauma and critical care, surgical services, cancer services, women’s care and newborn services, paediatric services, renal unit, intensive care, cardiac catheter laboratory, Mental Health inpatient facilities.

Outpatient services are provided from our dedicated Outpatients department in the main hospital building, and include physiotherapy, fracture clinics, antenatal clinics, occupational therapy and paediatric outpatients.
