Job summary

MedRecruit Limited invites applications for a Resident Medical Officer (Surgery) locum at Tweed Valley Hospital. The role offers hourly pay and covers travel and accommodation for the duration of the assignment from 16 November 2026 to 31 January 2027.

Shifts will be in the relief department and may include General Medicine, General Surgery, Cardiology, Renal and Palliative Care. Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
• Locum cover is for specified dates, with shifts in multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum medical cover in a relief department, with potential shifts in General Medicine, General Surgery, Cardiology, Renal and Palliative Care.
• Ensure patient care is delivered across inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings where required.
