Job summary

Elysium Manly is seeking a Reservations Sales Agent to be the first point of contact for guests, delivering warm, personalised booking experiences by the sea.

You’ll manage inquiries, build guest profiles in our PMS, and upsell to maximise revenue while representing a luxury hospitality brand in Sydney’s iconic Manly beachside destination.

Qualifications

• Previous reservations or customer service experience, ideally within a luxury hotel environment.
• Confident using hotel systems, including Opera PMS and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with additional languages highly regarded.
• A natural flair for personalised service, sales and identifying upselling opportunities.
• Warm, professional and guest-focused, with strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Valid Australian Working Rights / Visa is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming reservation enquiries professionally and efficiently, maximising conversion, upselling and revenue opportunities.
• Create and maintain accurate reservations and guest profiles in the PMS, including preferences, special requests and booking details.
• Provide warm, personalised service across phone and email, responding promptly and in line with Elysium service standards.
• Maintain knowledge of room types, rates, packages, facilities and local Manly area to confidently assist guests.
• Communicate special requests and relevant information to operational departments to support a seamless guest experience.
• Monitor reservation communications and the hotel’s main mailbox, directing enquiries to the appropriate teams.
• Identify potential sales opportunities and communicate relevant leads to the Sales team.
• Stay up to date with hotel communications, promotions, systems and loyalty programme information.
