Job summary

Accor in Melbourne is seeking a guest-focused team member for our airport area property. You will deliver professional service, manage reservations, and support check-in/out with accuracy.

Key duties include upselling, maintaining room blocks, and collaborating with Sales, F&B, and Front Office. The role requires onsite work and offers development opportunities through Accor's learning programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly service to guests across channels in a timely manner.
• Assist with room reservations, rooming lists, and group blocks using hotel systems for smooth check-in/out.
• Process payments accurately and promptly.
• Upsell guestrooms and hotel facilities to maximise revenue.
• Balance inventory and room types; coordinate with Sales, F&B, Front Office and other departments.
• Communicate facility information clearly to guests and colleagues.
• This role is onsite with no work-from-home option.

Your experience and skills include:

• Service focused personality.

What you will be doing:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service while corresponding with guests via various methods in a timely manner.
• Book, enter and update room reservation requests & rooming lists, as well as build & maintain group blocks, using the relevant systems to ensure a flawless check-in & check-out process.
• Ensure accurate payment information is received and inputted in a timely manner.
• Maximize revenue by upselling guestrooms and recommending hotel facilities.
• Assist with balancing inventory/room types.
• Liaise and maintain strong working relationships with Sales, Food & Beverage, Front Office & other departments as required.
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way.
• Due to the requirements of the role needs to be performed onsite, no working from home options available.
