Meta invites you to join Reality Labs Research as a Research Scientist Intern in Multimodal Generative AI and Robotics. The Surreal group seeks exceptional PhD candidates to advance egocentric AI, language-vision-action models, and large-scale training for context-aware robotic systems.

As an intern, you will tackle ambitious research challenges, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to practical experiments and prototypes that push the state-of-the-art in contextual AI.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in deep learning, computer vision, graphics, generative modeling, LLMs and VLMs.
• Hands-on experience implementing deep learning algorithms, large-scale training, benchmark and evaluation.
• Experience working within Python environments such as PyTorch and in a Unix environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute cutting-edge research and development to advance state-of-the-art in ML and large-scale training.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers across machine perception teams to develop experiments and prototypes.
• Design, setup, and run practical experiments and prototype systems for large-scale sensing and machine reasoning.
