Job summary

Western Sydney University is seeking a Senior Officer to lead the Faculty of Health’s involvement in establishing and operating a new shared research building. You will coordinate requirements, contributions, planning, commissioning and ongoing operations across partners.

You will manage access, onboarding, space, shared equipment and facility use while ensuring clear communication and action across organisational boundaries. This role is based at Campbelltown with some Hospital duties.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience coordinating research infrastructure, facilities, major projects or shared services across multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational plans, processes and service arrangements within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and liaison across partner organisations and disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead Faculty planning and operations for a new shared research building.
• Develop operational plans, processes and service arrangements for access, onboarding, space and equipment.
• Coordinate governance committees with advice, briefings, reports and risk information.
• Oversee transition to business-as-usual operations and monitor readiness and performance.
