Job summary

The University of Western Australia seeks a fixed-term Business Development Coordinator to drive funding and partnerships for its world-class research infrastructure portfolio in WA. You will collaborate with researchers, industry and government partners to shape opportunities and ensure long-term sustainability.

In this full-time role, you’ll build productive relationships, provide strategic advice, and support continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency in business development.
• Proven ability to cultivate productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience administering complex funding programs or development initiatives.
• Understanding of research processes within a university environment.
• Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and implementation of funding and partnership strategies for UWA’s research infrastructure.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with academic staff, industry, government and partners.
• Provide strategic analysis to inform decision-making and drive portfolio improvement.
