Job description

AI Consulting + Insights + Execution. This is where research gets interesting.

Join a high-growth AI-powered insights consulting business combining behavioural science, research and technology to help organisations understand customers, identify what needs to change and turn insight into action.

This is not a traditional research consultancy role. You’ll be working at the intersection of consulting and an AI technology, helping clients use research, behavioural science and AI to solve complex marketing and customer problems faster – and take those insights through to execution.

You’ll work with senior marketing, brand and growth leaders across major Australian organisations, while collaborating closely with the people building the technology itself.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll:

  • Lead senior client conversations, interrogate briefs and uncover the real business problem.
  • Design and deliver quantitative, qualitative and mixed-method research.
  • Apply behavioural science and consumer psychology to marketing, customer and growth challenges.
  • Use an AI-powered insights platform alongside traditional research approaches to accelerate analysis, diagnosis and activation.
  • Run interviews, workshops and fieldwork to uncover behavioural barriers, pain points and decision drivers.
  • Turn complex data and research into clear, compelling commercial stories.
  • Translate insight into behavioural interventions, communications and marketing execution.
  • Scope and sell research approaches, build trusted client relationships and contribute to business growth.
  • Work closely with technology, analytics and engineering teams to help shape how the platform is used to solve client problems.
What you’ll bring

You’re likely coming from a market research, insights, behavioural science or strategy consultancy and are comfortable operating as both a senior advisor and a hands-on researcher.

You’ll have:

  • Strong commercial market research experience across quantitative and/or qualitative methodologies.
  • Excellent research design skills and confidence selecting the right approach for the problem.
  • Experience applying behavioural science, consumer behaviour, behavioural economics and/or consumer psychology to commercial challenges.
  • Confidence working with senior marketing, brand and growth stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and storytelling skills.
  • Commercial acumen, including the ability to shape scopes and sell research solutions.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and new technology-enabled approaches to insight and consulting.

You’re excited by the opportunity to work differently – combining established research expertise with a technology platform designed to make insight faster, more connected and more actionable.

Why join?

You’ll join a smart, ambitious team building a new kind of insights business , part consultancy, part technology company, with genuine scope to influence the work, the product, the client offers and how the business develops. It’s fast-moving and entrepreneurial, so you’ll suit this environment if you enjoy ownership, variety and the opportunity to help build something.
